Contemporary jewellery workshop with Liesbet Bussche & Lodie Kardouss
We invite you to the first part of our online contemporary jewellery workshop series.
How does the city organize the bodies’ movements?
How does the body affect public environments?
How can a jewellery designer interfere in this bodily and spatial exchange?
The online workshop (Moving) Jewellery Between Body and Space is an invitation to jewellery designers from all over the world to explore the relationship between the human body and a public space using jewellery as a binding agent.
The workshop is structured around a three-part process of observing, documenting and intervening in a self-selected place where sensory, bodily, physical and urban experiences will be artistically registered.
These discoveries will provide a foundation for performative and tangible intervention on site, drawing on the characteristics, values and functions of jewellery as resources.
The workshop aims at curious, engaging participants who are in search of innovative input or interested in shaping different approaches within their practice.
